Babymetal announces new NFT credit cards

In accordance with NME, Babymetal has announced a new set of NFT trading cards in celebration of the band’s 10th anniversary, “10 Babymetal Budokan”. The new NFT trading card collection is scheduled to arrive on September 9 and will be available for purchase here.

The new collection includes 20 digital trading cards that will be divided into three levels of rarity. The first level consists of 24,200 “Common” cards with ten different designs. The next level contains 2,750 “Rare” cards, made up of eight different designs. And the final level is labeled “Super Rare” cards, with 500 split design cards available.

An NFT is a “non-fungible token,” meaning it is unique and cannot be replaced by anything else. Most NFTs are part of the Ethereum cryptocurrency blockchain and are usually anything digital. NFTs are designed to offer people something that cannot be copied, that is directly owned.

Last month, Alison Wonderland launched its own NFT project, called WonderQuest, based in the world of virtual reality. The project was launched on Decentraland, a blockchain-driven 3D virtual reality platform. The project allowed users to be completely immersed in a fantasy realm with virtual gift missions, debates and musical performances of its own along the way. Babymetal will end its 10th anniversary celebration on October 10th. The celebration included the release of a compilation album of his best songs and a series of 10 live shows at the Budokan Arena in Tokyo.
