The Dubai-based aviation giant revealed its plans when it announced that its fully enclosed Gamechanger First Class suites could now be inspected using the app.

Boutros Boutros, Emirates ’senior vice president of division, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Branding, said:“ Emirates aims to deliver innovative and excellent experiences to customers, whether on board, on land or in the digital space.
“In 2018, we were the first airline in the world to introduce advanced VR web technology to our digital platforms, offering our customers an immersive opportunity to learn about the fantastic Emirates experience that awaited them before boarding.
“We have continued to invest and develop this experience, and today we are delighted to be the first airline to launch a full Oculus VR app.”
He added: “This initiative expands our global reach and our ability to interact with our audience through digital platforms. It is also especially relevant at this time, as many people have not traveled for a while due to the pandemic. and looking for inspiration and research and rediscovering their flight options. ”
Emirates also said it is working on an upgraded version with its Premium Economy cabin and the latest A380 aircraft interiors.
