INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Racing fans can go back in time to 1964 as one of AJ Foyt’s mechanics at “AJ’s Garage,” a virtual reality exhibit at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.
IMS ticket holders during the Brickyard weekend can experience the exposure by using VR headsets to rebuild Foyt’s engine.
Virtual reality is a computer-generated simulation in which users can interact in an artificial 3D environment. The simulation lasts about 10-15 minutes.
The show ends Sunday at 4 p.m. after the Verizon 200.
