SEOUL, Aug. 29 (Yonhap) – The annual Incheon Pentaport rock festival will be held for virtually the second year in a row on Oct. 9 and 10, organizers say Sunday.
The 16th edition of the festival will feature prominent artists from the 90s, such as Lee Seung-hwan and Yoon Sang, and other popular events such as 10cm, Daybreak and Leenalchi, according to the organizing committee.
The names of the participating artists from other countries will be revealed later.
As one of South Korea’s largest music events, the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival was held earlier in October, also virtually, after being postponed for two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Organizers said about 780,000 people watched the show online.
This year’s edition will feature 360-degree virtual reality broadcasts and comments from music critics to help enhance viewers ’experiences, organizers said.
