AmazeVR’s immersive experiences give fans a rare insight into their favorite artists, looking them in the eye as if they were in real life. Yee said the company uses its own custom camera equipment and technology, as well as the Unreal Engine-based VFX pipeline used for games like Fortnite. Fans will be invited to watch movies, through headphones at home, pop-up events and more.
The announcement of the immersive experience with Megan Thee Stallion comes as AmazeVR continues to build its line of top artists, with a number of other high-profile experiences to be announced in the coming months. AmazeVR has also expanded its distribution partnerships, especially with global theater chains and motion chair companies such as 4DX, to ensure that millions of people around the world can see these immersive experiences in optimal environments created by VFX artists, video and creative production equipment. talent including the creative director Lewis James, who will oversee Megan Thee Stallion’s experience. James, known for his work with artists such as Post Malone, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Travis Scott and Canadian alternative singer Tate McRae, will work closely with Megan’s team to design all aspects of the show.
AmazeVR is represented in the deal with Roc Nation and Megan Thee Stallion by Sid Fohrman i Han Kim, both of Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton LLC.
