Maintain has created a virtual reality (VR) “sports club” entertainment experience of the first of its kind.
The virtual reality experience will also allow customers to stream live football matches, create fantastic lineups and play various sports games.
Customers will also be offered “immersive experiences” with music and groups, a concept that reflects Entain’s commitment to “leading a new generation of interactive sports and entertainment”.
Speaking exclusively to SBC News, Sandeep Tiku, Entain’s Chief Operating Officer, explained: “Much of the future of entertainment will focus on immersive, multidimensional experiences. We are positioning Entain to be at the forefront of this emerging experience.
“The most important thing for us is to create something that excites the customer. Satisfy your expectations and hopefully exceed them. The knowledge that our research on consumers has provided us suggests that what they are looking for is a multidimensional experience rather than something closely focused. “
Available at Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headphones and based on Entain’s alliance with Verizon Media, customers will be able to explore a wide range of RV sports games both individually and in groups when the project is piloted later this year.
“We continually offer our customers a wide range of innovative and exciting experiences, and virtual reality is an exciting opportunity to innovate in new ways,” Tiku added in the ad.
“The goal is to mix sports, entertainment and different types of immersive gaming into a single product, offering customers a great mix of new and exciting things to enjoy.
“We know that consumers are looking for more multidimensional experiences, in which the possibility of betting is just one of the ways in which they want to enjoy.
“So we want to surprise them and give them better experiences they’ve never had before and at the same time use our cutting-edge technology to protect our players.”
