OSAKA – Universal Studios Japan will open a haunted house in collaboration with the popular horror manga series “Gegege no Kitaro” during its Halloween event.
The enchanted house will open on September 11 as part of the theme park “No Limit! Halloween Celebration ”, which runs from September 10 to November 7.
USJ’s seasonal tradition of having cast members disguised as zombies strolling through the park will also return for the first time in two years.
The park operator will step up measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
Currently, visitors are limited to 5,000 a day. While tickets are available at the door in order of first-come-first-served arrival, USJ appeals to visitors to purchase tickets in advance for an assigned date during the celebration of the Halloween event.
Annual pass holders usually enter without reservation. But they are asked to make advance reservations on the park’s official website during the event.
USJ will also open a new roller coaster of virtual reality (VR) with themes to the success of the animated film “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” and other attractions on September 17th.
