Van Gogh- The Immersive Experience opens in Upper Darby | Good news

UPPER DARBY, Pa. – A traveling art gallery makes a stop in Pennsylvania.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is now open at the Upper Darby Tower Theater.

The exhibition is designed so that you can enjoy the incredible art of the Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh, explore his life and get to know his work.

It is a 360-degree digital art experience where you are invited to delve into more than 300 sketches, drawings and paintings by Van Gogh using floor-to-ceiling projections.

When you first enter, there is an art gallery showing his famous works to some you may have never seen.

There is also a virtual reality section. He puts on glasses and finds himself in a recreation of Van Gogh’s bedroom.

You can practically walk outside the house to see the environment that inspired it.

But, the real star of the show is when you walk into this great hall, built on the seats of the Tower Theater.

And there is a three-dimensional audiovisual presentation with his works that dramatically show four floors around him.

The exhibition has toured Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He has also made stops in the United States, where he has already made stops in New York, Atlanta, Miami and Washington DC
