Rooted in intensive instruction, learning is often a private matter between the mentor and the learner. This two-part virtual event provides a window into the collaboration of teams of artists from the 2021 Learning Program, as participants showcase the skills and techniques, lessons and experiences, stories and memories they gained while fostering their respective traditions. Both parties will be streamed live on the Texas Folklife Facebook page at 6pm CDT on 8/17 and 8/24 respectively.
