YouTube appoints vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa
YouTube has appointed Pedro Pina as Vice President of YouTube, responsible for all aspects of the business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The executive comes with 30 years of experience in global marketing. He first joined Google in 2013 as a leader in the Global Solutions & Agency Solutions team, working with clients such as Apple and Coca Cola. In 2019 he was named one of the ten most influential LGBTQ + executives in the UK by the British LGBTQ + Awards. “I think we just scratched the surface when it comes to what YouTube can bring to people’s lives and the world. The potential is limitless here in this region, so the opportunity to take the team to our next phase of growth was too good to lose, ”Pina said.
